Help Make New Jersey Housing Lead Safe for All Children

Each year, another 4,800 children in New Jersey are poisoned due to lead exposure in their homes. New Jersey Senate Bill 1212 and Assembly Bill 1877 will ensure that every family can live in a home or apartment that is safe from lead. ACNJ is joining Isles, Inc. to ask legislators to support these bills. Add your organization's name to further this effort. (Click here to read a backgrounder on lead and A-1877/S-1212)

Lead is a neurotoxin that affects a child's learning, memory and behavior. Even low levels of lead can have lifelong effects on children’s brain development, and these effects cannot be reversed.

Join ACNJ in signing your organization onto this letter urging the NJ Legislature to support S1212/A1877.
