Child care providers and other small businesses have another chance to access financial assistance from the federal government, but they must apply NOW. On Friday, April 24th, President Trump signed into law a new bill providing an additional $310 billion into the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), created under the CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act) and Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL).The legislation also included a $60 billion emergency loan and grant program for small businesses.
