Census 2020 Training Opportunity
Young children need your help! Join us on Tuesday, October 29th at the Lawrence Public Library to get the tools you need to help spread the word.

Did you know that more than $22 billion in annual federal spending in New Jersey relies on Census population counts? This includes NJ FamilyCare, hospitals and clinics, child care, Head Start and schools, WIC, SNAP and school meals, housing vouchers and highway construction.

As trusted messengers in your community, we're relying on you to help spread the word. ACNJ is targeting child care programs and other direct service providers to help share information about the importance of the census and respond to questions that parents may have about completing the census.

On Tuesday, October 29th, ACNJ will give you all the information you need to accomplish this task. The training will take place from 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm at the Lawrence Public Library, 2751 Brunswick Pike, Lawrence Township, NJ 08648.

Please join us or ask a colleague from your program to attend. Every participant will receive a Census outreach toolkit that includes resources and materials specifically designed with child care programs in mind for use with families.

To RSVP, email Daynne Glover at dglover@acnj.org today. We look forward to seeing you on October 29th.
