Urge Governor Murphy and the NJ Legislature to address the impact of NJ's minimum wage increase on child care providers.

Big things are happening in the Garden State. The legislature and Governor Murphy are working on a
new state budget to be completed by June 30th and the first increase in the minimum wage will rise from
$8.85 to $10 on July 1st.

Both events will impact child care programs throughout our state because the current subsidy funds
outlined in the proposed budget will not cover the minimum wage increase.

Whether you are a child care provider, a parent or someone who believes in quality child care, we need
you to show your support for increased state dollars for child care providers who nurture and educate
New Jersey’s children from low-income families.

Sign on to this letter TODAY! We will share the list with Governor Murphy and every member of the Legislature!
